# garden.yml with Gliss action types

At level 1, a `garden.yml` composes the app from Gliss action types, for example `gliss-service`, `gliss-postgres`, `gliss-bucket` and `gliss-hostname`, alongside Garden's `container` and `exec` builds and in-cluster tests. Everything is validated against the same catalog as `gliss.yaml`.

The action type reference will be generated from the Gliss provider when it ships.
